2018 Acura RDX vs. 2018 Audi Q5 quattro

The Q5 is all new for 2018 with new engines, updated styling, and more convenience and driver-assist features. The Q5 launched in 2009 and is Audi’s 2-row crossover that fits between the smaller Q3 and larger 3-row Q7. It is available with a choice of three trim levels, Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. It comes with the choice of a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, or 3.0-liter twin turbocharged V-6 engine on SQ5 models. Four-cylinder models come with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission while V-6 models have an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Q5 also features a new quattro® all-wheel-drive system with ultra® technology that is optimized for performance and efficiency that is standard on all models. The RDX competes with the Q5 2.0 and offers more standard and available features along with a 2-wheel-drive version for clients who don’t need all-wheel drive. While the Q5 offers many similar technologies, they are extra-cost items that significantly add to the price of the vehicle.
