2017 ILX vs. 2016 Audi A3 1.8/2.0

The A3 launched globally in 1996, but didn’t become available in the U.S. until its second generation in 2003. The A3 wasall-new in 2012, available in sedan or cabriolet versions. There is also an S3 version aimed at performance drivers.The A3 sedan is offered in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. All trims come with the choice of threeturbocharged 4-cylinder engines: 1.8-liter or 2.0-liter gasoline or 2.0-liter diesel. Depending on the engine, the A3 comes with a
choice of front-wheel drive or quattro® all-wheel drive. The only transmission is a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission without a torque converter.

While Audi is known for sporty European vehicles, the ILX is a true luxury vehicle and offers more standard and available features, as well as features that you won’t find on the A3 Sedan.
